Assistant General Manager
This is a position for an ambitious candidate that can support the General Manager, with the opportunity for future retail and management advancement, who will assist in overseeing the retail and front desk operations and play a key role in working with staff and customers to make our boutique a destination for the best in fitness fashion.
You are perfect for this role if you are experienced in leading all aspects of retail operations - merchandising, management and selling - that will grow the brand to new heights. This individual will support the boutique sales strategy with the Sales Associate team and will also assist the fitness class schedule and check in to ensure a cohesive multi-focus brand. Objectives are to provide excellent customer experience and to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives, increase engagement and sales every day.
Your background consists of a combination of hands-on retail and sales experiences where you were deep in the doing. To this day, you exemplify the “no-task-is-too-small” mentality. You are able to get your hands dirty with the “doing,” but a true passion of yours is working with customers.
You also have experience with managing employees. Some may call you, “a people person.” In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a happy and hard working team.
Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role)
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for SculptHouse’s retail and customer experience at the front desk. You must be able to multitask so that all the balls in the air get completed in the necessary order. We are looking for someone with sales and management skills to make sure everything gets done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong project management: You will oversee the retail operation of the entire boutique and guide its day-to-day operations to ensure tasks get completed and plans are met.
- Leadership and influencing: The role is a people focused one, so it’s crucial that you present yourself as a good communicator. You will report directly to the Retail Operations Manager and portray your vision and ideas to the executive team. You will also be leading and directing the work of others.
- Merchandising: Keeping our brand and marketing consistent across our platforms. You will be responsible for merchandising the store and managing the inventory needs. You will be focused on sales, customer engagement, and keeping the store full and optimized with the help of the buyer.
- Community Management: Engaging with customers, helping solve customer service related issues and making sure that our customers are well taken care of or directed to the person that can help them. Manage email “inboxes” so that customers are addressed.
- Sales, Analytics & Tracking: Studying our numbers monthly and coming up with strategies to improve our performance. Track KPIs according to our best practices. Use metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement and areas of expansion
Requirements (expected proficiencies to excel in this role):
Co-manage & organize all location retail operations.

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in retail, sales, or fitness
- Excellent at merchandising, styling, working with customers

This individual will also be responsible for training and managing our Sales Associate team.

You will answer the questions: how do we do more of what is working? And how do we do less of what isn’t working? This is not an entry level role; retail experience (2+ years) is a requirement.

Sales Associate (Atlanta or Dallas)
Sales Associates serve as the face of SculptHouse, greeting guests and helping them navigate their experience with ease. While this person will complete typical front desk personnel duties, such as checking in clients for class, this role is heavily focused on the boutique. Sales associates will assist with inventory procedures, boutique merchandising, and e-commerce fulfillment. Sales associates will also help maintain an organized, clean and stocked front of house.
Ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, basic sales experience and demonstrated ability to be reliable and punctual. We are looking for a hard-working, independent self-starter with a friendly attitude and a knack for organization and sales.
Skills and duties:
- Passionate about people, fitness and fashion
- Be an ambassador of the SculptHouse brand and the brands we carry in the boutique
- Knowledge and willingness to learn head-to-toe client styling in boutique
- An enthusiastic and outgoing personality
- Customer service skills
- Excellent sales and communication skills; previous sales experience is a plus
- Ability to use computer and learn the POS platforms
- A schedule that allows for flexibility and availability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
- Must be available for weekends, early mornings, evenings and some holidays
Trainers (Atlanta or Dallas)
Prior teaching experience is not required, but it is preferred. Must be enthusiastic about Lagree Fitness and cardio intervals. Each individual that is accepted into the Trainee Program will go through an extensive SculptHouse and Lagree training program. Must be willing to learn and dedicate the time it takes to learn the method and machines.
SculptHouse Internships (Atlanta)
Internships are unpaid but may qualify for school credit. Interns may get free drop in classes and discount on merchandise.
Applicants must be able to get to work on time and during scheduled shifts. Some internships require access to a car and ability to transport inventory.
