Do you have a mantra or a motivational phrase you like to say in class or live by?
If you’re not challenging yourself, you’re not changing yourself.
What do you love the most about teaching at SculptHouse?
I enjoy teaching because it’s such a unique format.
How has SculptHouse impacted you?
SculptHouse has been instrumental in my relationship with fitness. I think being an instructor I get to implement all the things we preach about in class to our everyday lives and really leave a positive impact, not only with our clients, but with ourselves.
What’s your playlist vibe?
My playlist vibe is fun, upbeat! Very EDM heavy. You get a little bit of house, dubstep, remixes, mashups, you name it. I pride myself in my music!
What is it that you love about Lagree Fitness?
I love training the core with Lagree. It’s low impact but we focus on core stabilization so that even if you’re not doing a core movement, you’re still activating it.
What is your favorite thing about the Woodway Curve?
You get the chance to tailor our program to your own pace so it feels like you’re pushing yourself without overextending your body.
How do you think SculptHouse is different from other studios?
SculptHouse is different because we have to be meticulous about form and it is a more intimate environment. Other studios have so many bodies in the class that it’s hard to get that individualized training.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give anyone wanting to try the SH method but may be intimidated?
Everyone starts somewhere. So whether you’ve taken 0, 10, or 1,000 classes, we all started at 0. Take the chance to try something new but give yourself grace if it wasn’t perfect.
What do you hope clients take away from their experience training with you at SculptHouse?
To have fun. Fitness is one of the things that we have a choice to partake in. You don’t have to do it, no one’s forcing you to do it. So if you choose to be active, do something you’ll have fun doing.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren't working/training?
I love going to music festivals. It’s such an inviting and warm to space to be im.
What else do you want everyone to know about you?
I truly, love what I do. I take every piece of advice, feedback, and review to heart – I’m always looking to improve.
