What do you love the most about teaching at SculptHouse?
I love being the bridge for people to see how strong they are and help them push past mental limits.
How has SculptHouse impacted you?
In many ways! Physically my body has never looked or felt better since taking class every week. I have so much energy and confidence in my day-to-day. Teaching has also changed me, and I never realized how much I enjoy leading a large group of people to feeling challenged and BETTER when they walk out of the room. It's an honor that I don't take for granted.
What’s your playlist vibe?
Hip hop, rap, top 40's, house
What is it that you love about Lagree Fitness?
I love that the method is very specific about where your body is in space in order for a move to be effective. That part makes sense to me coming from the dance-world where if you're doing group choreography and a body part isn't in the right place (from where your eyes are looking to pinky finger) the move as a whole looks off.
What is your favorite thing about the Woodway Curve?
I like that I'm fully in control, it burns more calories, and it's easier on my joints. I've been able to hit sprinting PR's because I don't have to wait for the speed to load up.
How do you think SculptHouse is different from other studios?
We focus on the whole experience. You have amazing instructors, lovely front desk associates, a stunning boutique, a hip environment, and everything has a process and a place. Not to mention a crazy good workout. I think that kind of organization and attention to detail is worth a million bucks!!!
What’s one piece of advice you’d give anyone wanting to try the SH method but may be intimidated?
Jump right in and be open to everything. Listen to the instructor's suggestions, be aware of what's going on around you, and become a student to the method. That's my best advice! Give yourself 4-5 classes to get comfortable in the space, and I promise you that the magic is on its way :)
What do you hope clients take away from their experience training with you at SculptHouse?
I hope clients walk away feeling empowered to do all the things they want to do in life. I truly believe a fulfilling and purposeful life starts with a healthy mind and body, so I'm hoping to inspire clients to be the creator of their reality and follow their dreams.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren't working/training?
I enjoy being outdoors when it's warm just laying around or walking, drinking iced oat milk lattes, listening to audible or podcasts, dancing, and working out
What else do you want everyone to know about you?
I want clients to know I'm not looking for them to be perfect, but to have an openness to grow and challenge themselves. I always encourage everyone to do their best which can also mean failing, making mistakes, or needing to rest. My classes are a super safe space to connect more intentionally with yourself and take what's needed that day
